..Rêve Sans Frayeur..

On a separate note, I'm really liking senior spring! My classes have just been fantastic, and I have so much to look forward to each week. Today was especially fun. In statistics, we used a technique to find out how many people at Harvard have smoked marijuana before (it was around 30%). French was a discussion of Kirikou and la Sorcière - a film animation about a young African boy and his battles with an evil sorceress. Then I skipped lunch because I wanted to go for the roundtable discussion with Robin Chase - the co-founder and ex-CEO of Zipcar. It was a surprisingly small group, only about 10-12 people but really cool! This was an optional element from my class on social entrepreneurship. She talked about how to develop ideas and grow big companies quickly - speaking about being able to identify excess capacity and leverage it with a good platform. She was both interesting and inspiring and definitely worth skipping lunch for.
Then was business chinese, where I learnt about chinese terms associated with the stock market and some basic regulations governing trading activity in China.
Finally, I ended the day in lab making some preparations for my protein purification over the weekend. Later tonight, I've a squash game with June and I still have a bunch of work to get done. Need to prep my cases for tomorrow's entrepreneurship class and section. We're studying Porter's Five Forces in section tomorrow! So fun! Seriously, I've been hearing so much about it during my consulting interviews that it's great that I'm finally studying it formally as part of a class.
All in all, quite a productive day. Definitely looking forward towards the long weekend.
