Prelim results are back. I probably met the least of my expectations to get ABCC but again I ask, is that really good enough for me? True, I sincerely doubt that it will affect my psc application, but i know that it will impact my application for other scholarships, albeit those that are given out before the release of 'A's, which Firefly must certainly count as among those I'm seriously considering. Moreover, CCA records carry you only that far. But perhaps what I may be most concerned about is US uni apps. UK forecast grades are already sent, so nothing more can be done I think. (i might be wrong...) but e sch's ranking their top 100 academically so, that kinda freaks mi out, esp since I know that I probably missed the cut by like another 100? And having to explain abysmal prelim grades to any of e 3 us places i'm applying to will probably get mi a kick out their door....its lyke one of the lesser certain times of my life...

but look, nothing is really smooth-sailing, and guess this may just be another test in my life. I must work on these grades, and make the most of the next month. I want my 4 As, 2 S dis, and an A1 for GP. Concentrate, focus, and work like you've never worked before, and I'm sure that its all within range. Work hard, work smart. I'll probably be focusing more on maths, my 2 s papers and chem core. I'm not complacent for econs, but I guess we must make sacrifices of time to work on what we're doing poorly at, in place of those that we're doing relatively all right.

"4-2-1" strategy! China-style, I like it!
